Haitian immigrants-Yet another political wedge issue
Political analyst Earl Ofari Hutchinson in The Hutchinson Report says Trump’s Haitian immigrant bash is the classic political ploy to create an emotionally charged wedge issue. In this case the scare of crime, violence and eating dogs and cats by Haitian immigrants in the U.S. to stir emotions, passions, and dog whistle racism to grab votes. The allegations have been totally debunked. No matter they continue to stir voter wariness about immigrants–as they were designed to do.
