The Virtual Global Forum commemorating the historic 2015 International Reparations Summit took place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Dr. Ron Daniels, President of the Institute of the Black World 21st Century (IBW21) and Convener of the National African American Reparations Commission (NAARC), and Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, Vice-Chancellor of the University of the West Indies (UWI) and Chairman of the CARICOM Reparations Commission (CRC), led this important reflection on a pivotal moment in the global reparations movement.

Held originally on April 15, 2015, at York College, City University of New York (CUNY), the summit marked a historic dialogue between the CARICOM Reparations Commission (CRC) and the newly established National African American Reparations Commission (NAARC). This 2025 forum revisited that moment and explored the progress made—and the path forward—in the global fight for reparatory justice.
