Dr. Ron Daniels, President of the Institute of the Black World 21st Century (IBW) and veteran community organizer and political activist, recently delivered his final lecture in his capacity as a ‘Distinguished Lecturer’ at York College, an affiliate of the City University of New York (CUNY).

His final lecture was open to the public and in attendance were scores of York’s administration, faculty, and former students who had been tutored and guided by him, along with representatives of local elected officials as well as his wife, Mary France Daniels, other members of his family, friends and colleagues. In a passionate and wide-ranging presentation, Dr. Daniels elaborated on his political world view and on his vision and priorities for IBW moving forward.

Before delivering his lecture, Dr. Daniels received several citations and proclamations for his ten years of service to York College.
